Hello friends and welcome to my blog.
I am going pink today! I feel it has been a while since I grabbed my favourite colour. Today's card features To A Wild Rose stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. Roses are my favourite flower.
To determine what colour to use on the rose, I grabbed a sheet of dsp from Plaid Tidings pack. Of course, it had to be one of the pink sheets. It also has Seaside Spray in it so I added that as another layers behind the dsp.
I also couldn't forget my wink of stella glitter brush. Confession time: the brush had run out so I added some Isocol to it and after shaking it, it came out a bit too fast so there is way more glitter on the rose than I would normally like. LOL. I used two ink colours for the rose - melon mambo (1st generation) and blushing bride (2nd generation). The leaves are stamped in granny apple green (2nd generation).
The sentiment I stamped with momento tuxedo black using two of the stamps in the set. I first stamped the 'friend' by masking the rest of the stamp (to be your), then I lined up the 'hello' stamp to the left and pretty close as I didn't want a gap. I also coloured in 3 basic rhinestones with my melon manbo stampin' blends because everything has to coordinate.
I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
