Creativity Abounds Blog Hop February 2021

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

It's that time again where the Creativity Abounds Design Team, a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world come together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

This is a monthly tutorial and this month, we are highlighting the DANDY GARDEN SUITE. You can see the products on pages 24-27 of the January-June Mini Catalogue.

I don't often use Blackberry Bliss but when I saw that the Dandy Laser-cut Paper was white (BTW, you can colour it if you like), I immediately thought of a dark contrast colour. The DSP from the Dandy Garden pack goes so well too. I measured the laser-cut paper and cut the DSP 0.5cm/1/4" bigger. I used liquid glue to adhere the two together. I love how everything coordinates.

I may have gone overboard with the bling (rhinestones) but that's okay. You don't have to add so many. LOL. I tied the white crinkled seam binding ribbon in a bow around the blackberry bliss layer and adhered it to the basic white card base using dimensionals.

You can see here that I raised the dsp layer using dimensionals. I also raised the sentiment with dimensionals. With the sentiment, I stamped in on some basic white cardstock and used the Banners Pick a Punch to banner the right side.
