Stampin' Up! Tasteful Touches

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

Here is something different from me today. There are no layers! If you have been following me for a while, you will know I like layers and I LOVE foil....and anything PINK! LOL

Today's card features pink, but no foil or layers! I haven't grabbed the Tasteful Touches stamp set in a while so I thought it time to bring it back out and have a play. The sentiment is from So Sentimental stamp set which I stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. The card base I coloured with a blending brush and Bermuda Bay ink. I went over the whole card and then made the top left corner darker a little bit at a time.

I stamped the flowers in Melon Mambo and the leaves in Granny Apple Green then used my old olive stampin' blend on the veins of the leaves. The leaves are from To A Wild Roe stamp set and I cut them out with the coordinating die (Wild Rose Dies).

As you can see, I have curled up the black flower to give some dimension to the card. In the centre I used the matt black dots. I also added some Elegant Faceted Gems to the card.
