Stampin' Up! Handsomely Suited

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I am on a bit of a masculine theme at the moment as this month's Creativity Abounds Blog Hop is male projects and I usually find male card hard, but the Handsomely Suited bundle makes it easy.

These ties are so much fun! You can stamp them and die cut them as I have here or you can use the die on its own with designer series paper for an outrageously colourful tie ... but for today, I have stamped on basic black with versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder for the outer two ties. The middle tie, I stamped in basic gray ink on basic white cardstock.

I raised the ties with dimensionals and adhered the label directly on top. It is very hard to see, but the basic white layer on top of the card base is embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. I think the picture above might give you better view of the embossing folder detail. I stamped the sentiment in basic gray ink and used one of the dies from Ornate Frames Dies to cut it out.

We just spent a lovely weekend with my family celebrating my youngest boys birthday, as well as my eldest niece, and my birthday. We are all within a month of each other and as my parents don't travel the 4 hours anymore, we go to them. I think our next trip will be in June for 3 more birthday's!

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
