Stampin' Up! Blossoms In Bloom

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

Blossoms In Bloom Bundle is back for today's project.

I first stamped the image onto a basic white layer with 2nd generation stamping as I wanted the image to be light. Using basic white cardstock, I then die cut the two large dies (see die image below). I grabbed my daubers and coloured the thickest with Highland Heather ink and Granny Apple Green ink. Don't be afraid of using your ink. I wanted it dark enough to show the colour difference which is probably close to Gorgeous Grape. I also coloured the thin die cut with what ink was left on the daubers so it is much lighter but still blends well with the thick die cut. For the flower center I started with Mango Melody but I felt it was too yellow, so I added Cinnamon Cider over the top and I like the result.

After colouring all the pieces, I adhered the two die cut layers together then placed them over the stamped image. The sentiment is from the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set which has a number of stamps for a range of occasions.

As you can see, I cut three extra flowers that I also coloured with the daubers and raised them up using mini dimensionals.

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
