Today I am using the Designer Series Paper, Bloom Where You're Planted which is part of the Bloom Where You're Planted Suite of products.
I have made cards before just by using Designer Series Paper. This is primarily using dsp but I added the stamped sentiment which is from the Sentimental Rose Kit. I also couldn't resist using the leaf die (again) from Artistic Dies. If you don't mind a little fussy cutting, this is a simple card with only 2 layers.
As you can see, I have raised the flower pot to give the card some depth using a dimensional and tied some white twine around it. The foliage piece I also cut from a different sheet from the pack of DSP and adhered it just underneath the top of the pot using some liquid glue which I placed a small amount at the bottom, where the stems are. That way, the foliage is free to move and I think it looks more realistic. Originally, my card stopped there but you know how obsessed I am with THAT die and I still had some left over from a previous project so I added some to this. The gold foil against the green is just divine.
