Stampin' Up! Artistically Inked Bundle

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I like the simplicity of this sketch. You can follow it as is, or you can add your own spin on it. If you popped on over to the blog post, you would have seen the different looks that the Design Team did.

I started with Evening Evergreen in my head and went from there. The beautiful Artistically Inked Bundle was within reach (actually, it was still on my desk) so I grabbed that and initially thought to cut the hanging leaves die. As always, I cut a Basic White card base and placed the Evening Evergreen piece on top but knew it needed something else - so the gold foil came out. I cut the foil 3mm (1/8') bigger. I then die cut the hanging leaves in gold foil to match and adhered it to the Evening Evergreen layer which I embossed with the Checks embossing folder from the Check & Dots Embossing Folders pack.

I tied a bow using the Evening Evergreen Open Weave ribbon and added a double bow of gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim pack and adhered them together with a mini glue dot. I am really liking the double bow at the moment. I placed all the pieced on the card base to see how it was looking, but it still needed something else. I added the Basic White layer knowing that I was going to raise it using dimensionals and I then thought to use the big rectangle stamp behind the focal piece. So I stamped it in Evening Evergreen ink and did 2nd generation or stamping off technique.
