Stampin' Up! Blackberry Beauty DSP

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

We are still in lockdown here in Sydney with word yesterday, it will be extended for 2 more weeks. School started back this week as well, which means, home schooling for my 5 kids. With my youngest only starting school this year, I am having to sit with her to help her. Thankfully, it isn't a full day's work but she is learning new things and enjoying it but missing her friends from school. The older kids have their slides to complete and do it without complaint (so far!). Hopefully, we won't be in lockdown for too long but we take it one day at a time.

I am back today with another project using the Blackberry Beauty DSP. Hmmmm, I think I like this paper! LOL

This particular sheet from the pack, you can cut in half (6" x 12"). You will see which way to cut and that is what I did. The tips of the flowers are gold foil and so pretty. It has been an age since I used Early Espresso cardstock and it is one of the coordinating colours for the Blackberry Beauty DSP pack.

As usual, I have raised the sentiment layers using the Banner's Pick A Punch. The gold trim is from the Simply Elegant Trim pack. This pack also contains silver trim - keep an eye out next week for a project I made with it.

Confession time ... I think I may have grabbed an old pot of gold embossing powder as this isn't looking as smooth as it should. Did you know that embossing powder doesn't last forever! Somehow, I must have mixed up my tubs of powder. Oops. Time to buy more, I think. I stamped the sentiment from Artistically Inked stamp set in Versamark ink, then poured over the gold emboss powder and set it with my heat tool.

NOTE: the Blackberry Beauty DSP pack will be available from 3rd August 2021 from the Mini Catalogue.

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
