Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I don't know about you but our weather here in Sydney has been a little crazy. We are in winter and while some days have been cold, today is going to be so much warmer.

If you are wondering if I have used some DSP, I am here to tell you, I have not! Nope! No DSP in this project. That purple border is made from a stamp!!! Yep - it is from Artistically Inked stamp set and isn't it just gorgeous? I also used the Biggest Wish stamp set for the sentiment. I wanted the 'happy' to stand out so I stamped the in Gorgeous Grape ink. The Gorgeous Grape banner piece behind, I cut with my snips. I did get my ruler out to find the middle and I marked it with a pencil and then marked about 0.5cm (1/4") from the edge and that was my cutting point. I didn't want a sharp angle for that banner.

You can see a little of the wink of stella here but you can really see the two purple inks I have used - Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape. I randomly stamped the image off the edge of the layer. I added three In Colour Jewels in Fresh Freesia for some extra sparkle. I have just about used the whole pack on jewels - I do really like them.
