Stampin' Up! Beautifully Penned DSP

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

So I posted a card on Monday using the same sketch as this one, only I embellished this one  differently.

I really like this sketch. It shows off each side of the DSP or you can mix and match between packs. I had a piece of Be Dazzling DSP (free Sale-A-Bration product) left over from another project and I wanted to use it. Like the last project, I added a splash of colour, this time using Bermuda Bay.

Same sketch used, but they look different because of how they are embellished.

I just love that ribbon. Even though it has silver sparkle in it, it is not too much to clash with the Be Dazzling DSP. Shock, horror ... there is no dimension to this card at all! I am as surprised as you! LOL The sentiment I used is from Hand-Penned Petals stamp set and stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I did think about using Bermuda Bay ink but as you can see, I ended up using black.

Base card - Basic Black = 4 1/4" x 11" (score @ 5 1/2"), 3/4" x  2 1/2"
Layer 1 - Bermuda Bay = 4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2 - DSP = 2 7/8" x 5 1/8", 1" x 5 1/8"

Layer 3 - Bermuda Bay = 5 1/8" x 1/4"

Base card - Basic Black = 10.5cm x 29cm (score @ 14.5cm), 1.9cm x 6.3cm
Layer 1 - Bermuda Bay = 10cm x 14cm

Layer 3 - Bermuda Bay = 13.7cm x 0.5cm

About this Event
