Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Bundle

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

I couldn't help myself ... I had to use PINK! 😆 I love all the pinks, but my new favourite is Polished Pink - one of the 2021-2023 In Colours.

I really, really like this card. I couldn't tell you when I last used a window sheet though. Seriously, it has been sooo long. I brought out that gorgeous Expressions In Ink Specialty DSP with the gold foil running through it! I cut those strips 0.5cm (1/4") smaller so there is a small border as you can see. Scroll down for the measurements and you will see how it all fits together.

Here you can see the layers. There is a little bit of height on the card and with the ribbon on top, it might just be too much for normal postage, but I am OK with this. I don't make too many of these.

I cut the window sheet 0.5cm (1/4") smaller than the card front. After scoring the card base, I put some liquid glue on the back of the 4cm flap and standing it up, I put the window sheet behind the flap and pressed it down to adhere the two together.  Doing it this was, for me, was an easy was to get the window sheet the same height as the back of the card base.

Of course, there is some sparkle. The famous wink of stella is at it again! There aren't many of my projects that don't have any stella on it. LOL. The splats are from my Polished Pink Stampin' Blends®.

While the outside of the card looks pretty, the inside doesn't. Let's fix that.

It is easy to fix. I cut another scallop rectangle in basic white and adhered it in place, directly over the one of the front. I used liquid glue to do the job. You can also see that I have added the two 4cm pieces to hide the liquid glue I used to adhere the window sheet. You would never know what adhesive I have used.

Layer 4 - Window Sheet = 4 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Basic White scrap = flower

Layer 2 - DSP = 10.5cm x 3.5cm (x2)
Layer 3 - Scallop Rectangle = 8.5cm x 12cm (x2)

I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
