Stampin' Up! Butterfly Wings Dies

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog.

And welcome back to another Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. I hope you enjoy my project with this month's theme - Use Your Stash.

Let's face it, we all have a stash! For some, it might be designer series paper (DSP), for other's it might be embellishments or ribbon. What about unused images or dies cut out from a previous project. I know I certainly have a few. The Butterfly is from an earlier project I didn't end up using but I kept it and I now I can use it.

I raised the basic white layer using dimensionals and added a mini dimensional to the butterfly but kept the wings free so it looks like it is flying. The sentiment is from the Handsomely Suited stamp set. I coloured the white crinkled seam binding ribbon using the dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends®

I couldn't resist adding basic rhinestones to the butterfly and as you can see, I added colour to the other three with, you guess it, my dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends®.

Measurements to make this project:

Card Measurements: Imperial
Base card - Basic White = 4 1/4" x 11" (score @ 5 1/2")
Layer 1 - DSP = 4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2 - Basic White = 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

Card Measurements: Metric
Base card - Basic White = 10.5cm x 29cm (score @ 14.5cm)
Layer 1 - DSP = 10cm x 13.5cm
Layer 2 - Basic White = 8.5cm x 12.5cm
